A high quality Pewter Welsh Love Spoon, hand cast by craftsmen.  Engraved with TWO messages, up to 8 characters per message.  We suggest engraving baby's initials or a short name on one heart, and the date on the other.

The custom of giving a Love Spoon originated in the 17th Century, when lovers would offer intricately carved lovespoons, bearing symbols of their feelings to their partners.  Love Spoons today are also given to commemorate any special occasion such as the birth of a new baby, or a Christening.
