Each piece of Balmoral glass is made entirely by hand. The molten glass is gathered and then blown by mouth, the shape being determined by its mould. Rims are ground and handles are formed by experienced artisans. Occasional 'seeds' or small bubbles, formed by gasses during the melting of the crystal, are the unique hallmark of handmade glass.
